CL updates

Its the 2nd of 3 must win CL games and we had beaten Porto 4-1 at home. Besiktas, after suffering a 8 nil defeat by us, gave their home fans a victory to cheer about by defeating Marseille 2-1, and in fact, they have thrown themselves back into the race for qualifying to the next stage. Marseille's loss also meant that for the last game, we just need to win Marseille and we do not have to worry about having to win by more then 1 goal.

CL Group Stage Table after 5 games :
1. Porto 8 points
2. Marseille 7 points
3. Liverpool 7 point
4. Besiktas 6 points

Liverpool :
12/12- Marseille vs LFC (LFC+3PTS,any win will do)
Total = + 3 PTS

Marseille :
12/12- Marseille vs LFC (MAR +0PTS)
Total = + 0 PTS

Porto :
12/12- Porto vs Besiktas (POR +3PTS)
Total = + 3 PTS

Besiktas :
12/12- Porto vs Besiktas (BES +0PT)
Total = + 0 PT

Assuming the above, then the table will be like this and Porto and LFC will qualify. But Besiktas can also qualify if they beat Porto. All these make for a nail-biting night again in 2 weeks times..
