This was indeed an unforgettable night :) A new record was set by my beloved Reds in the Champions League for the biggest win margin in this current format. The pre-match mood was nervous and it almost felt like a pressure cooker...our backs were up against the walls and its the 1st match of the "Do or Die" trilogy as we attempt to qualify for the knock out stages..

While all I asked for was an improvement in play and urgency and 3 points, the Liverpool fans were given more, 8 goals scored with no reply and I thank the heavens that in my lifetime I was able to witness a few memorable Liverpool moments..like the 2005 CL win, the 2006 FA Cup win, and now this record breaking win.. I'm not as lucky as fans who grew up with the likes of legendary King Kenny, Ian Rush, John Toshack, Kevin Keagan, John Barnes etc, so I treasure every current Livepool moments or record breakers, even if the current crop is not as good as the legends from the golden era, but I hold the faith that they will come good eventually :)

Thanks for giving me Gr-eight memories tonight, after a dreadful 2 months of draws and losses, just keep on going and the wins will come, my Reds !
