simple wishes

I wish to see smiling faces when i return
taking me in with arms wide open

I wish to feel what you feel
heartbeating in one

I wish to find appreciation in your eyes
telling me I am good enough

I wish for scales of balance
with fairness and principles on both ends

I wish for fire in my belly
and let me feel alive again

I wish to breathe in fresh air
and the wings in my heart takes me far far away
