It was dubbed as a Goliath vs David match by the media and it had been said that we are going to walk all over the non-league team. But this is FA Cup and fairy tale moments do happen. Credit to Havant & Waterlooville, they had a dream opportunity to play the biggest football game of their lives and they took it beautifully and passionately and of course it does help that they have nothing to lose on the day, all they needed to do was to go out there and enjoy the moment.

Their fans cheered, sang and basked in the glorious day watching their heroes twice took the lead against us. Jamie Collins,the Havant and Waterlooville skipper, couldn’t help himself and join the Kop in a rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone. Our Liverpool supporters completed this magical FA cup tie by showing their appreciation of the opposing team and fans while giving 100% support to Rafa and the lads amidst the club turmoil.

Sometimes, that's what we need to see in football. Footballers making their fans happy and fans supporting their team whole-heartedly, no matter how small or big their club is :)
