simple meal

That’s my lunch today :) it was bought from a small eatery near my office.. loved the “home cook” feeling that I get from the various dishes the friendly aunties cooked.. the dishes are not salty, or submerged in heavy, thick and unsavory sauce like those we find in food courts.. Simple dishes like egg with long bean, stir fried vegetables, steamed egg, sardine, cabbage, beancurd, luncheon meat etc etc all reminds me of third sis and mum’s cooking when we were young.. I asked for half the usual amount of rice but the packet of rice looks huge cos I asked for a bigger piece of fish, and 3 dishes plus rice cost me $3..I would never get such a big piece of fish from the food court at $3 loh :P simple meal but certainly satisfying ^_^
