I was cheering for All Blacks but they lost narrowly to France, host country of the Rugby World Cup :( NZ was better in the 1st half, but the French put on the pressure and completed a 2nd half comeback to win the quarter finals 20-18..Frenchman Michalek's introduction in the closing stages of 2nd half turned the game with his assist in France's try and winner..it'S a close game and I really thought the talented and attacking All Blacks will win the trophy after their great run in the group stage :(

The other quarter final saw England beat Australia 12-10 (England won the 2003 Webb Ellis World Cup after defeating the Wallabies in extra time with a drop goal), as usual, England was boring and I think they didn't score a try at all in the match, only depended on Jonny Wilkinson's penalties and conversions to win the match -_-

Sigh..All Black's early ommission makes the World Cup less desirable in a way.. its akin to FIFA World Cup without Brazil.. lets just hope France will show that the win against the fantastic All Blacks is not a fluke and beat England this Sat..and hopefully by means of more tries, please :)
